PAVED ROAD ALL UTILITIES ONLY $160/MONTHIf you’re ready to buy a nice parcel of Southern California land, then take a look at this one! The first picture is McDonalds located at Barstow Station which consists of 3 side by side railroad cars used for seating. It is an amazingly busy place. The significance of this is that Barstow is the site of a huge railroad yard belonging to BNSF railway. The Railroads were constructed in the late 1800′s to transport both people and goods as gold and silver were discovered and many miners came here to seek their fortunes. The city is located at the intersection of interstates 15 and 40 and famous Route 66 also goes through here. The population is in excess of 22,000 people. The city is home to the Marine Corps Logistics Base and Fort Irwin Military Reservation is just a few miles away. Barstow is located halfway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas and as mentioned above Barstow Station serves 20,000 tour buses a year. There is also a Panda Express, a Popeyes Chicken and and ice cream parlour located here. There are a few museums located here including the Mojave River Valley Museum, The Route 66 Mother Road Museum, The Western America Rail Museum and the Desert Discovery Center which houses the second largest meteorite found in the United States. The Tanger Outlet Mall is located just southwest of the town. All in all tourists traveling to Las Vegas and beyond on Interstate 15 and east on Interstate 40 to Lake Havasu and Parker on the Colorado River comprise a big part of the Barstow economy. The second picture shows the fire hydrant in front of the lot next door. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth pictures show the lot from different directions. They were just recently taken. The seventh picture shows the house across the street at 34862 Baldwin Road. It is assessed at $179,185. The eighth picture is a newer house just around the corner on Windy Pass Road. The ninth picture is about a mile from the parcel looking west from Windy Pass at the intersection of Barstow Road. There are quite a few large apartment buildings right here. The last picture is from google maps and locates the parcel exactly. You can see interstate 15 at the top of the picture. To get to the parcel get off Interstate 15 at exit 183 which is Route 247 and go south for about 1/4 mile. Turn right on Windy Pass and go for about 1 mile and turn right on Baldwin. The parcel is at the end of the street on the right.
